October 13, 2023: Patios

 On the morning after the season's first snowfall, the house is glistening.

Juan is preparing the hot tub patio by installing the tubing for the snowmelt system.

Each tube is placed over styrofoam insulation, then bracketed into place.

Once the tubing is all in place, Nelson installs rebar to lend strength to the concrete.  Here, Nelson is working on the north patio.
