 Outside, Bud fires up the big backhoe to rearrange the soil stockpile.

First, he strips off the snow and sets it out to melt in the sun.

Next, he moves the dirt stockpile to create room for more.

Inside, Earlen uses more primitive means to move gravel from the garage into the interior of the lower level.
