After a very snowy hiatus, Stein, Nelson, Bud and Earlen returned to the site to dig out the snow in preparation for putting in the underground drain tiles.
It smells like snow is coming. Good time to work inside. Joel working on the heating manifold. Nelson is staining the beams in the Great Room. Outside, the standing seam steel roof over the Grand Deck is done.
Kurt cut and installed the apron around the kitchen sink. Then started to attach the drawer pulls on the kitchen cabinets. Garage door openers are in. Cactus installed the gate for the dog run.
Not much snow the day before opening, but the sun is out. Up above the Grand Deck, Luis and Jaime begin installation of the standing seam metal roof. Before connecting the metal pieces, Jaime caulks the seam. Being up on the roof gives the opportunity for a closer look on the chimney cap. Down below, the stonemasons keep working behind their shroud. And inside, Nelson sands the glu-lam beams.
