1615 Chaps Way in Steamboat Springs

 Cactus oiled the interior railings for their final look. Outside, Peak put the discharge vent up under the eaves for the kitchen hood. And installed the A/C units on their pads. Nelson is mounting the televisions throughout the house.

  Inside and upstairs, a bathroom and a closet . . . ... are close to being done. Outside, the hot tub is ready for use. The pads outside await the air conditioning units. And the gas meter is in.

The crane arrived today, mostly to move the hot tub into place. While the crane was setting up, the crew from Aqua-Vita readied the hot tub from where it has been stored on the north side of the house..      First, the guys  wrestled the hot tub onto the dolley, then wheeled it  to the pick up site. Showing Stein their progress as the crane readies for a lift. Lowering into place.  

  Kurt cut and installed the apron around the kitchen sink. Then started to attach the drawer pulls on the kitchen cabinets. Garage door openers are in. Cactus installed the gate for the dog run.

  Things are starting to move towards completion. Kitchen faucets in place. And behind the bar. Upstairs, the electricians are putting on the final plates. Outside, the gas company has finally brought service to the house, now that spring is here.  Still to come is connection of the meter; then the service can be switched from propane back to natural gas. And Cactus is erecting the fence to enclose the dog walk and hot tub.

  The Granite Guys are back again. Desktop in the office. Countertop for the TV center. And the closet completed in the downstairs bedroom.

  As a cold front blew through, work continued inside the house. Nelson put a cap on the staircase. Kurt worked on the back bar area. Cabinets in the kitchen. Fixtures in the upstairs bathroom. Chris is putting together the guts of the internet hub.

  Working on a broad variety of fronts today. Cactus finished the railing on the front porch. Nelson dug out and compacted the foundations for the air conditioning units. Sink installed in upstairs bathroom. And Bobby drilled the holes in the kitchen granite for the faucet and disposal switches. .

  Cactus has the metal frames for the stairway railings in. While upstairs, Kurt has built the nightstands next to the platform bed.

On a beautiful spring day, work continues. Kurt is finishing the trim on the built-in bed.   Sink at the bar. Cactus has started the railings on the front steps.
