1615 Chaps Way in Steamboat Springs

 Classy Closets has begun the closet install. Top floor. Lower level family room.

  As spring opens, there is progress on several fronts. The stair treads have been cut to size. Cody wrestles into place the doorway between the mud room and the mechanical room. The supports for the steel above the fireplace in the Great Room. The first of the cabinets is in place.

The rest of the supporting steel for the stairs is in.   Meanwhile, down at the bottom of the stairs, the barn door into the mud room has been hung.

  Fedewa delivered the first set of cabinets this afternoon. These are the cabinets and cupboards for the kitchen, the kitchen island and the pantry.  More to come later. Typical cabinet face for a four-drawer stack.

  On the Ides of March, the barn door out to the mudroom is almost ready for installation. The hardware is all in. The door itself is ready for final sanding and hanging.

  The wall covering is being installed in the lower floor bedroom. The wall covering consists of thin strips of wook attached to a black felt backdrop.

  Some of the bathroom fixtures have been installed. Master bathroom. Top floor. Work continues on the living room fireplace granite. Upper right corner, with vertical yet to be installed. Lower right corner of base. Upper left corner. This vertical piece will be installed on the right side once the fireplace glass is in.

  The first granite pieces are being installed. These are for the fireplace mantle in the Great Room. The pieces are held in place while the glue dries.

  Joel has installed the thermostats throughout the house. So now the mechanical room is heating the whole house.
